The department monitors the quality of education in assessing the content and quality of training of students.

Conducting planned (unplanned) exit and documentary inspections; control over the organization and conduct of state final certification of graduates who have mastered the education programs.

The main functions of the Department of Quality Control of Education are:

1)            Preparation of draft annual plans for scheduled inspections in terms of quality control of education

2)            Preparation of materials and documents necessary for the organization and conduct of audits of the quality of education

3)            Establishment of the content and form of conducting control measures conducted during the on-site inspection of the quality of education

4)            Conducting control measures in the course of quality control audits in order to assess the compliance of the results of mastering the main educational programs with state accreditation with the requirements of federal state educational standards

5)            Involvement of experts and expert organizations accredited in accordance with the procedure established by the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan in accordance with the civil agreements concluded with them

6)            Preparation of materials and documents on the results of inspections of the quality of education

7)            Consideration of applications, applications, complaints of citizens who have entered the department on matters within its competence

8)            Implementation of measures to control the organization and conduct of state final attestation of graduates who have mastered the education programs

9)            Carrying out of measures aimed at preventing and preventing violations of the procedure for conducting state final attestation

10)       Participation in the preparation of reports, analytical information on issues within the competence of the Division

11)       Participation in drafting documents regulating matters within the competence of the department

12)       Coordination of the work on the formation of control and measuring materials, the fund of evaluation tools for carrying out control measures in the course of on-site inspections of the quality of education

13)       Consulting on quality control of education

14)       Participation in the organization and conduct of seminars, meetings on the quality of education

15)       Formation of cases based on the results of inspections

16)       Performing other functions due to the tasks assigned.
